Set up inventory information

To edit a product's inventory information in Vetocare, first navigate to "Products". Then select the product whose inventory settings you want to edit.

You can now see the "stock" window. This is one of the ways the inventory system is managed.

To manage a product's inventory settings, click "Edit".

You will now see a window with several options:

Stock The current stock level of the product. This can only be adjusted by entering an "Adjustment". Click here to learn how to apply a stock adjustment.

Minimum stock The minimum stock level for the product. If the current stock falls below the minimum stock level, the current stock number will turn red to indicate that there is insufficient stock. If the minimum stock level has not been reached, a "Low stock" indicator will appear in the product overview.

Order quantity Here you can specify the fixed order quantity.

Unit Here you can indicate whether the product is supplied as a strip, box, or jar, for example.

Storage location The location where this product is stored. This could be a warehouse, cabinet, or drawer, for example.
