Set up an email signature
You set up an email signature for each email sender. In Settings, you can find this under the email settings in Email senders. Vetocare then automatically places the signature at the bottom of every email sent by that sender. If you no longer want to use the signature, turn off Add signature for that sender. For background information about senders, such as verifying an email address, see Manage email senders.
Set up or change a signature
Each sender has their own signature. You set it up on the sender's details page.
Go to Settings and under Emails, select Email senders.
Open an existing sender using the folder icon, or select Add email sender to add a new sender.
Enter the sender's name and email address, or check these details for an existing sender.
Set Add signature to Yes. The Signature field appears.
Create your signature in the text editor.
Click Save. The signature is saved for this sender.
Do you want to remove a sender's signature? Set Add signature to No and save. The saved signature is then cleared.
Signature formatting
You create the signature using formatted text. The editor supports bold, italic, underlining, strikethrough, text color, background color, text size, bulleted and numbered lists, alignment, images, and hyperlinks.
You can upload images through the image editor. They are limited to a maximum width of 550 pixels.
Where the signature appears
Vetocare automatically places the signature of the selected sender at the bottom of the message. This applies to emails you send manually, emails based on standard messages, and reminders and appointment confirmations. Reminders and appointment confirmations are always sent via the default sender, so they use that sender's signature.
If a signature is already included in the text of a standard message, Vetocare adds the sender's signature below it, resulting in a duplicate signature. Therefore, leave the signature out of standard messages. For more information about these messages, see Standard messages.
