User roles
Vetocare has four roles that you can assign to a user, plus the Owner role, which is reserved for the practice owner. A user's role determines which data and features they can view and use.
You set the role when inviting a user and can change it later via Settings → Subscription → Manage users by selecting the user. See Inviting users for the invitation flow.

An administrator has access to all features within Vetocare, except:
The ability to change the current license.
The ability to make purchases within Vetocare.
Staff member
A staff member has access to everything an administrator has, except:
The ability to invite new users.
The ability to edit or deactivate existing users.
The ability to change practice settings.
Staff member without financial access, with billing
This role has access to everything a staff member has, except:
The ability to view the invoice annual overview or VAT return reports.
Staff member without financial access, without billing
This role has access to everything a staff member has, except:
The ability to create or view invoices.

Owner
The Owner role is reserved for the practice owner. The owner is the only person who can change the license and make purchases within Vetocare. The Owner role cannot be assigned through an invitation and cannot be changed to another role.
Not every practice always sees all roles: the available roles may vary by practice based on the active permissions.
