Exporting invoices
To export invoices, we offer several options:
Exporting the invoice list to an Excel file
It is possible to export the invoice data to an Excel file. This allows you, for example, to perform calculations or create a quarterly overview for sales tax. The Excel file will contain a table with information such as the invoice number, important dates, the client and their address, and amounts such as revenue, VAT amounts, and VAT percentages.
You can do this export by navigating to your invoice overview (via 'Invoices' in the menu), and then clicking 'Export' > 'Save as Excel file' in the top-left corner. The file will then download automatically.
Exporting one invoice to a PDF file
A PDF file allows you to export an invoice as completely as possible in a format that can easily be printed or forwarded. You can do this export by opening an invoice via a client or via the invoice overview, and then clicking 'Download' in the top-left corner. The file will then download automatically.
Exporting the invoice list to a ZIP file
You can also combine the two options above by exporting the invoice list as a ZIP file. This gives you a file containing the Excel overview, a PDF file for each invoice, and, if UBL invoices or Peppol is enabled, a UBL file for each invoice as well. This allows you, for example, to save all invoices for a month or quarter at once.
You can do this export by navigating to your invoice overview (via 'Invoices' in the menu), selecting the desired period using the period filter (for example, 'Show per month' or 'Show per quarter'), and then clicking 'Export' > 'Save as ZIP file' in the top-left corner. The selected period and any other filters will be included in the export.
As this export can sometimes take several minutes, depending on the number of invoices being exported, you will be redirected to a page showing the export status. Vetocare performs the export in the background: if you leave this page open, the download will eventually start automatically. Would you like to continue working in the meantime? You can, because an email is always sent to the user who requested the export as soon as the download is ready. This email contains a link that you can use to download the ZIP file afterwards.
Automatically exporting invoices via Vetocare Connect
