Mark as deceased

If an animal has died, you can mark it as deceased in Vetocare. This gives the animal a label while preserving its data, unlike deleting the animal. To mark an animal as deceased, go to the animal's record. Click the Edit button to open the edit page. There is a field called "Deceased"; setting it to "Yes" marks the animal as deceased. When the field is set to "Yes", two additional fields also appear: "Deceased on" and "Note about death". The note is optional and allows you, for example, to enter the cause of death.

Don't forget to save these changes by clicking the Save button. When saving, you will receive a warning that all scheduled reminders will be canceled. After this, a label will be displayed for this animal in various places in Vetocare.
