In Vetocare it is possible to keep track of the weight and the height at the withers per animal. By taking measurements in Vetocare, it is possible to build a graph. It then shows exactly whether an animal grows, gains or loses weight, for example.

To create measurements for an animal, go to the animal file. Click here on the "Weight" button or "Height at the withers". You can customize the units that are shown on this screen in the settings, for more information see: Language, units, and time settings.

Create new measurement

A new measurement can be created by filling in the date of the measurement, the value, and optionally the note. The date of the measurement is set by default to today, but you can also adjust it to a date in the past. To create the measurement, press "Save".

Chart measurements

All measurements can be seen in a graph. This graph shows linear the date and measurement and so you can quickly see if an animal is growing, gaining or losing weight. By going over a circle in the line with the mouse you can see the date and precise measurement value.

Measurements table

The graphs also show the measurements in table form. This includes the note. Furthermore, this table shows a delete button per measurement that allows you to delete the corresponding measurement.
