If an animal has passed away, you can mark it as deceased in Vetocare. This gives the animal a label and the animal's data is preserved compared to deleting the animal. To mark an animal as deceased, go to the animal's file. Here you press the "Edit" button to get to the edit page. Here's a field called "Deceased," by setting it to "Yes" you mark the animal as deceased. When the field is set to "Yes", two other fields appear "Deceased on" and "Deceased remark". The remark is optional and allows you, for example, to fill in the cause of death.
Remember to save these changes through the "Save" button. You will still receive a warning when saving that warns you that all scheduled reminders will be cancelled. After this, a label with the text "Deceased" will be shown with this animal in various places in Vetocare.
