Address suggestions and clearer forms
Address fields are now split into separate parts: street, house number, addition and apartment number, in the field order for the selected country, with address suggestions for the Netherlands and Belgium. You can split an address that is still stored as a single line of text into separate fields with one button. Read Entering or updating an address to learn how to work with the new address fields.
The client, contact and animal forms are clearer: less frequently used fields are tucked behind a + or into expandable sections, one-off animal actions are in the Actions menu next to Save, and empty required fields trigger a clear message when you save. When entering a Peppol ID, you’ll see the organisation’s registered name as you type and can choose whether to use it. See Adding a client and Adding an animal.
When you save a report, Vetocare protects your work if someone else—or a client via the sharing link—saves in the meantime: you can open the latest version or save your version as a copy. See Completing a report. For animals, Vetocare now works backwards from an estimated age to calculate the date of birth, and it’s easier to type a date of birth directly; read Entering an animal’s date of birth. Letters now show an animal’s age written out in full instead of using the abbreviated notation; labels and printouts still use the abbreviated notation. It’s also easier to add accented characters. In a text field, such as a name field, press and hold a letter to choose an accented version: e gives é, è, ë and ê.
Fixed issues
Creating an animal species that already exists is prevented, even if the name is spelled differently.
The Peppol ID check works better for Belgian clients without a company number.
Belgian Peppol invoices with an outstanding balance show the IBAN and invoice number as the payment reference.
